CNA Training – Learn one of the fastest-growing healthcare careers out there.get the bartenders to like you and within 4-6 months you may have an opportunity thrown at you. then you can just slowly pay attention to the methods and recipes for the drinks on your menu. they may not let you go into bar tending right away but like i said earlier you will get to occaisionally help out with the tending and pouring beers from the tap, etc. seriously, go for bar backing and tell the interviewer that you would one day like to move into bartending from that. youll notice the techniques the bartenders use like how to use your hands in an effiecient manner to pour the drinks fast and accurately. for an aspiring bartender its a GREAT way to start because being a bar back means you are changing the kegs and cleaning the bar and cutting the fruit, etc. as a barback you will most likely get to pour drinks and you will get to know how the bar works. out of all the positions the BARBACK position will get you there. but the best way to do it get a job as something else in the restaurant.

The restaurant industry is full of fake and incompetent people, if you like to drink then you can easily learn to make drinks. From what I'm told bartending school seems like giving someone money to teach you something you can learn for free. They may even ask you to bartend without you even having to ask them, as what happened with my friend. When the times right ask to guest bartend and get as many people as possible to show and spend some loot. Is maohaze in tonight? Maohaze is great? Whens maohaze going to bartend? When its slow and the bartenders aren't busy be inquisitive ask them whats in this drink how'd you make this, but dont be pushy. Get people talking about you and asking about you. Be crazy positive and enthusiastic no matter how bad it sucks. Once you're in gradually bring more and more of your friends in every day. Find a barback or server gig, Im sure Palm beach has a ton of bars to hit up. One told me how they started and it actually sounds pretty solid, I'm desperate so Im going to try it myself. I know a couple bartenders and they say its a waste.
